The 2BE liquid ring vacuum pump is a core supporting equipment for ceramic production. It adapts to the harsh working conditions of ceramic processes featured by high humidity, large water vapor and clay dust. 1. Main Application Scenarios

1. Pugging Process

Matched with vacuum de-airing pug mill, it creates a high negative pressure of -0.092~-0.098MPa in the vacuum chamber to degas, dewater and densify clay:

Remove 18%~25% moisture and micro air bubbles in clay, avoiding blistering, layered cracking, pinholes and black cores during drying and firing.

Compress clay particles to reduce gaps; the bulk density increases by 3%~5% with better plasticity and higher ceramic body strength.

Assist dewatering to reduce moisture content by 1%~2%, lower drying energy consumption and shorten the production cycle.

2. Slurry Treatment

Vacuum degassing of slurry after wet ball milling: Eliminate air bubbles mixed in during grinding to make the slurry uniform and fine, preventing pores and rough surface on green bodies after slip casting.

Vacuum dewatering / concentration: Reduce slurry moisture content, increase slurry concentration, lower the load of subsequent forming and drying, and adapt to high-pressure slip casting, roller forming and other processes.

3. Forming Process

Slip casting: Quickly exhaust air from the mold cavity, help slurry fill every corner of the mold evenly, reduce material shortage and bubble defects, and improve the density and surface smoothness of green bodies.

Dry pressing / isostatic pressing: Pre-vacuumize to remove air among raw particles, improve pressure transmission efficiency, ensure uniform body density and avoid delamination and cracking.

4. Sintering and Post-treatment

Vacuum exhaust for sintering furnace: Discharge air, water vapor and impurity gas inside the furnace to prevent high-temperature oxidation and black cores of green bodies, accurately control sintering atmosphere, and improve glaze gloss and product stability.

Vacuum drying / glazing: Dry green bodies at low temperature to avoid high-temperature cracking; glaze adheres evenly under vacuum, reducing pinholes and glaze shrinkage defects.
